Version 1.1 of the freeware Digital Cookbook represents my first venture into HyperCard design and HyperTalk programming. As such, I'm sure there will be many improvements added to future versions!
The idea for the stack came from my wife Su. She was in need of some way of organizing the vast amounts of paper recipies which she had collected over the years.
Some months ago, I downloaded a stack from America Online called "Super Cookbook" (by Jef Richards, 7218 John Blocker Drive, Austin, TX 78749). As I learned a bit more about HyperCard, I changed the stack's interface and modified a number of scripts to suit my wife's needs. The "final product" is here before you!
If you know a bit about HyperTalk (probably more than me) feel free to look over the scripts and modify them for your own uses. You might want to modify the report printing to suit your own needs. Currently, I have set report printing to print three recipes on each page—you may want more or less.
